Hello there, random person stalking me!

My name is Maggie (feel free to call me that), and I'm a 20 year old female who has multiple obsessions in life; thus, my URL. That's a picture of me on the left in case you're wondering what I look like. If you come in my ask looking for a picture, I'll just link you here. Sorry, not sorry.

I live in Alabama, USA and am a junior in college, studying Secondary Education and Language Arts/English. It's a dual major, so I get two degrees when it's all said and done, but it's a lot of work. If I vanish for long periods of time, school is probably why. I apologize in advance.

I hope to, one day, be a junior high/high school English teacher. Why, you ask? Well, it's obviously not the money since teachers are basically dirt poor, and it's not the reputation I'm going to get since people pretty much think teachers are the scum of the earth.

Basically, I want to be able to educate young people to enjoy learning and to learn how exciting it can be to dive headfirst into a book. I want to be there to tell the people of tomorrow that it's okay to be who they want to be, since so many pre-teens and teens these days have issues with self-image and confidence. I want to be the one to give them that boost to say, "I'm going to keep going!"

I currently have a volunteer job as a forum admin and head of the news team on TheAvatarPortal.Org. There's a link on the right if you want to check us out!

Before you ask, I DO have a paying job. I work as the office secretary of the local Lutheran Church. Also before you ask, no, I'm not Lutheran. I'm not very religious at all, in fact, so if that's something you wanted to know, there it is.

I have boundless interests, and the numbers grow by the day. I once tried to list my main fandoms on my About Me, but I find it's easier to simply make a consolidated list. You can find that list, called "Fandoms," in the links on the right. (This is currently in construction.)

Since this is my personal blog, I post pretty much anything and everything I like on my dash. Don't even think about telling me to keep my personal stuff to myself; I'll just snark off at you, post a funny GIF, and let you casually unfollow me.
